"My Story"
Hey, this is Jamie. I would love to share with you a little about myself. I feel it is important for you to know who I am and where I am coming from.
Wheither you are you just learning about our incredible candles, here to purchase products, learn more about candle fund raising, or to view this unique home based business opportunity...you are potentially getting a partner and friend to help you get started on your journey!
My journey with this amazing company began over three years ago, but let me back up just a little......
I grew up in New England and still have strong ties to the North East. My parents instilled strong religious and family values in me. My father owned his own business, and showed me that you don't get anywhere in life without hard work. As a young woman I earned money by selling snacks and drinks in my father's upholstery shop and any other small jobs he could find for me to do. It wasn't much, but it taught me early on the value of money.
One of my life-long dreams is to one day own my own business. Being the oldest of five children, the leadership qualities had shown themselves very early! (ha ha)
My husband Michael and I just celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. I thank the Lord everyday for blessing me with such a loving, hardworking, and supportive husband and father. He truly is my best friend.
We are a proud military family. Michael serves in the United States Army as an EOD tech. Military life allows us to meet people that we would normally never get a chance to meet, see the world, and expose ourselves and children to new cultures and ways of life.
Together we have a beautiful daughter name Fiona who is five, and another little girl on the way! As a mom, it is most important to me to be at home with my children. As a military family, and dad being gone often, it is even more important to me that I be home and always available to my children. Most of all...I don't want to miss a moment! They are only little once.
I started with this candle company more on a "gut" feeling than anything. I received my first soy candle for Christmas one year, and couldn't believe all the benefits that soy had to offer. I began my search online basically just looking for a way to make them or a company that I could purchase from.
I had no idea, that I was about to stumble upon something that would totally change my course of life. After talking with my "now" sponsor, I knew it was something I wanted to be involved with.
I had worked from home before and I think what sold me most was that they offered so many ways to make an income: retail, fund raising, and team building...along with unlimited possibilities in between! Of course, a company is only as good as it's products, and the candles...well they practically sell themselves!
I had to begin building my business on a limited budget. So that meant I had to get out there and get these candles under peoples noses! I would retail, and then turn my profits over into more products or tools to help me propel my business. People who loved the candles began to see how much fun I was having and joined my team. It really has been as simple as that.
I have grown so much along the way. I think this is a very important key to the success of your business. Positive thinking creates a positive outcome in whatever you do. So in order for people to believe in me and my business, I had to believe in them first!
I have the opportunity to create my own success, however big or small I choose to dream. I feel blessed to be able to share this business with others. I have no doubt that with hard work and "laser focus" anyone can achieve his or her goals. The possibilities as to where you and I can go with this company are endless...
I encourage you to take a moment and really think about your life. Everyone of us have dreams, and sometimes along the way they get pushed aside to make room for "life" and that is ok...but always be true to yourself.
That is what this opportunity has done for me. I love my family, my life, and the person I am. I love sharing this with others in hopes that it will inspire them as well.
It's your life, share the gifts you have with others.
